Preparing for the Camino de Santiago

Friday 19th April, 7.00pm

Kate Hackett

The 'Camino' to Santiago de Compostela in North West Spain is one of the most popular pilgrimage walks in the world, which attracts hundreds of thousands from across the globe every year.  This conversation will feature Kate Hackett, who walked the Camino Frances (French Way) to Santiago in 2023.  We will look at questions around how to prepare for a Camino pilgrimage, such as:
Which route should I walk?
When should I walk?
What should I wear and bring?
How to plan and book your Camino journey
How to prepare spiritually
What resources are there to help me?

The Pilgrim Conversation will last for about an hour to an hour and a quarter, depending upon how many participants join the conversation.  It will feature a presentation from Kate about her pilgrimage journey, some dialogue with Paul Revill, who walked the Camino Frances in 2019 and then space for you to ask your own questions and make comments.

This conversation costs £5.
