Pilgrim Pathways offers guided pilgrimage walks in the South West and North East of England. Our walks visit places of significant spiritual heritage and use routes which have been travelled by pilgrims for centuries, or which have been recently created to encourage pilgrimage walking.
A Pilgrim Pathways walk has several intentions: helping you to slow down and de-stress, enabling you to become more attentive, assisting you in reflecting upon your life and helping you to connect with the natural world, with others and with God.
A typical walk covers between 6 and 15 miles and takes between three and seven hours, at a moderate pace with stops along the way. People of all faith persuasions and none are welcome, and we value and encourage the contribution which each pilgrim brings to the pilgrimage walk.
In addition, Pilgrim Pathways offers online conversation spaces to discuss walking and pilgrimage themes, to share stories, to listen to practitioners and discover more about our own sacred heritage as well as learning practical tips for making a pilgrimage.
