Programme for 2024

IMG 0489

This is our launch year.  We are starting off with some walks in the West of England, scheduled for weekends through the year.  In winter we will walk routes which offer firmer terrain suitable for the time of year.  In summer we can be a little more adventurous!  Some walks will be themed around pilgrimage practices; others will take a theme from the places being visited.  We will also offer silent pilgrimages and a 'spontaneous' walk where the group decide on the day where they want to visit.

In June a week of walks in the North East of England is being offered, visiting sites associated with the Northern Saints - Lindisfarne, Heavenfield, Durham and Whitby.

Finally, there is an opportunity to join a week's guided walk along St Cuthbert's Way from Melrose to Lindisfarne, crossing the border country from Scotland into England through stunning scenery, visiting ancient abbeys and considering how the life of Cuthbert, the eighth century monk and bishop might speak to our own lives today.
