Salisbury Cathedral Lent Walk 

Saturday 22nd March 2025 - 5 miles / 3 hours 

The third Lent walk is a shorter stroll through attractive Nadder valley from Wilton to Salisbury.  Starting at Wilton new church we will skirt the estate of Wilton House, continuing to Netherhampton and then Harnham, both of which offer historic churches to explore.  Approaching Salisbury, we will stop at the viewpoint where Constable painted the cathedral, before entering the spacious cathedral close and finishing at the magnificent cathedral.

This walk will give us an opportunity to share stories together and to focus on how we grow in attentiveness of those companions on this journey as well as those in our life's journey.  

There is an option of joining choral evensong at 5.30pm.  Return to Wilton is by public transport.
